I am trying to save an ioGAS file into my hard disk and the following error message appears: “Unable to write to file C:\username\test\filename.gas Illegal name, disk full, network error or locked file”

A: This error message can appear when you do not have the appropriate permission to write into a directory. To ensure you have read/write permissions as a non-administrator you can right-mouse click in the folder in question in Windows Explorer and create and save a new text file. If you can’t do this then don’t have write permissions for this folder. If you have created the folder that you are trying to save your ioGAS file into using a Windows user account with full administrator rights, and you are currently using a user account with non-administrator rights then it will not be possible for you to save said file. Try creating both folder and ioGAS file using an account with full administrator rights and save the file afterwards.
