A: There are several things that the user (the person connecting to the server) and the person in charge of the server can do.

– Check that the user is connected to the same network where the licence server is hosted.

– Make sure that the user enters the right credentials for the host server. If the computer name is used for host name and the user still gets the error message, uUse the IP address of the server instead.

– If there is a firewall on the server side blocking any communication attempt from the user to access the Licence Server, then the firewall setting should be changed to allow users to access the licence server. The same thing should also be done on firewall settings on the client (i.e. ioGAS user) side.
