The Company, which now has an increasing client base of key resource companies who rely on REFLEX HUB and the associated REFLEX solutions, identified the need for an industry professional with experience in the region and across multiple commodities.
Ms Grove’s over 20 years’ combined geology and mining experience in production geology and mining consulting provides a firm foundation for her role in bringing the REFLEX Geosolutions to the African market.
“With the significant growth in our Geosciences offer,” said Justin Moyes, Regional Manager REFLEX Africa, “we needed to ensure that we could support our clients appropriately, while at the same time, expanding our customer base. Ms Grove’s significant industry exposure will help us to achieve this well within our projected time frame.”
Based in Johannesburg but working throughout Africa, Ms Grove is well equipped for the role. “Apart from my mining and geology background, there is a considerable amount of education required around REFLEX solutions,” commented Ms Grove. “My interest in education and training will assist in the communication of the solutions to clients, which, supported by the regional and global REFLEX team, will provide a good base from which to achieve my business development goals.”
Focussing predominantly on the combination of deposit-specific, calibrated and precise XRF data, geochemical analysis and interpretation using REFLEX ioGAS, and the mineralogical input of the XRD, Ms Grove will be instrumental in providing clients with the solutions and skills to gain an elemental, mineralogical and geochemical understanding of their deposit.
“After spending some time in Australia where REFLEX specialists shared their knowledge and experience with me,” said Ms Grove on her recent return to Johannesburg, “I now feel well equipped to work with current and perspective clients in Africa to get value from the intelligence accessible through REFLEX’s solutions.”
