The REFLEX TN14 GYROCOMPASS™ takes approximately ten minutes to calibrate and a drill rig can then be aligned to the correct azimuth and dip within minutes.
Data access worldwide facilitating immediate decision making
Drillhole coordinates can be entered directly into the wireless handheld unit on site or pre-loaded from any location worldwide and sent directly to the rig using IMDEXHUB-IQ™. Drillhole alignment data is transferred back into IMDEXHUB-IQ™, so geologists can effectively manage their drilling program remotely, without leaving the office; no physical file transfers are required.
Easy alignment and control via large visual interface
The REFLEX TN14 GYROCOMPASS™ has a large visual interface built both onto the compass and the wireless handheld, showing live movement to guide alignment and improve operator safety. The visual interface makes it easy to quickly see which direction the rig needs to move to and easily align to the correct dip and azimuth, improving alignment efficiency and accuracy.
With a Roll/Pitch range of +/- 90 deg, the REFLEX TN14 GYROCOMPASS™ has the flexibility to guide alignment and thus improve productivity in all drilling conditions. Without the roll & pitch limitations experienced by some rig alignment systems, azimuth integrity remains intact at ALL angled drilling applications. Risks and the associated costs of human error caused by entering wrong co-ordinates or inaccurate survey marking are reduced by pre-loading co-ordinates. The wireless handheld unit means no cables are required ensuring a safer operating environment.
