Paul House to become IMDEX Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 July 2020

Leading global Mining-Tech company, Imdex Limited, today announced that Mr Paul House will be appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), following Mr Bernie Ridgeway’s retirement on 1 July 2020. Mr Ridgeway, who commenced as Managing Director in 2000, announced his intention to retire on 19 August 2019. Since that time, IMDEX’s Board has undertaken an exhaustive search for the ideal CEO, considering internal and external candidates. IMDEX buys Flexidrill for $40m

IMDEX’s recent acquisition of New Zealand-based Flexidrill featured in the Business News on 6th December 2019. Global mining-tech company IMDEX has exercised its option to acquire New Zealand-based Flexidrill, after gaining the option early last year, for a further payment of $NZ3 million cash. IMDEX had already paid $NZ10 million in both cash and IMDEX shares, and will pay a further $NZ27 million in share and royalty-related payments, based on milestones achieved and revenue generated from the acquired business. The company said the acquisition would strengthen its market position and expand its technology offering to its clients, which now included Flexidrill’s ‘Corevibe’ and ‘Maghammer’ drilling technologies.
